Soral commends the directives issued by His Excellency the Minister of Labor, Mr. Mohammad Kabbara, which prohibit recruitment agencies from deducting any portion of workers’ salaries and ban dealings with unlicensed intermediaries.

The syndicate stresses that employers must contract exclusively through licensed agencies and immediately report any violations related to the unlawful deduction of workers’ wages. It also reminds employers that engaging in such illegal practices exposes them to legal prosecution.

In the event that any agency refuses to return unlawfully deducted wages, the syndicate urges employers to file a complaint with the Ministry of Labor to ensure that appropriate legal action is taken against violators.
