In its ongoing commitment to protecting and organizing the sector, the Syndicate of Recruitment Agencies calls on the General Security Directorate and the Ministry of Labor to take the necessary measures to investigate unlicensed agencies and to prosecute all violators in accordance with legal procedures.

Illegal practices in the recruitment of domestic workers harm Lebanon’s reputation and lead to the exploitation of labor in ways that violate both national laws and international conventions.

The syndicate stresses the urgent need for the strict enforcement of existing laws and regulations to ensure the protection of the rights of both workers and employers, while preserving Lebanon’s standing as a country that upholds human rights and social justice.
