Important Notice to Citizens Regarding the Recruitment of Domestic Workers
Dear Citizen,
We would like to draw your attention to a very important matter concerning the recruitment of domestic workers, especially in light of the growing number of promotional ads on social media offering unrealistically low prices.
⚠ Beware of fraudulent advertisements and unlicensed agencies!
According to Minister of Labor Decision No. 1/41, recruitment offices are prohibited from publishing any advertisements in newspapers or on social media platforms. Any office that violates this regulation is considered in breach of the law and may face legal consequences.
We also caution you against dealing with individuals who claim to be agents or partners of recruitment offices. Many of these individuals have no legal status and may deceive you, leading to potential fraud.
Why should you be cautious?
Dealing with unlicensed agencies or brokers can result in:
✅ Loss of your rights and those of the worker, as these parties do not follow official laws or regulations.
✅ Financial fraud, where you may pay large sums and either receive no service or lose your money entirely.
✅ No guarantees for dispute resolution, since unlicensed offices are not bound by law to handle issues, unlike licensed offices that are obligated to resolve conflicts legally.
How can you protect yourself?
✔ Only deal with officially licensed recruitment agencies recognized by the Ministry of Labor.
✔ Verify the agency’s registration through official records or trusted websites.
✔ Do not hesitate to request a copy of the agency’s official license.
✔ Avoid any office that advertises its services on social media.
⚠ Important Note:
The agencies listed on this website are the only officially licensed and registered offices recognized by the union. They operate in accordance with the law and are subject to regular oversight. We strongly advise you to work only with them to ensure your rights and those of the workers are protected.
Stay informed and protect yourself and your family by following the official laws and regulations!
